A rich emollient base that can be used as a moisturiser (emollient-type), or as a base for creating your own rich emollient creams or lotions. Our Body Lotions are easily absorbed and formulated to help keep your skin hydrated and smooth without any greasy residue.

Aroma: Vanilla

Fragrancing: This is not normally fragranced other than as provided.

Colour: Uncoloured - white base colour easily coloured with water soluble colours.

Colouring: Make a dilute solution of water soluble food colours in water. Try 1 to 5 drops of dilute colours to 100gm of Body Lotion.

Preservation: This formula contains a sufficient preservative system to allow a shelf life of two & a half years under normal conditions.
However should you wish to add more than 10% extra material or dilute the product by adding more than 10% water then we recommend that you add an additional 0.1% preservative (per 10% of added material), using preservatives such as Plantaserv P or Plantaserv Q.

Usage: A rich emollient base that can be used (as is) as a moisturiser (emollient-type), or as a base for preparing rich emollient creams or lotions.

To use as is: Take the desired amount of Body Lotion and use as is.

To enhance: Take the desired amount of Body Lotion and add active ingredients, essential oils and/or colour to suit your particular purpose and mix.

Appearance: Semi-solid base with the consistency of a thin cream.
