Description: Cypress Australian Blue is a slow-growing native Australian cypress tree, exclusive to tropical Australia. The compact, neat tree, with blue-green foliage reaches heights of 25 meters, and its branches can spread up to 10 meters at the base.
Common Uses: Cypress Australian Blue essential oil is well known for its skincare properties – specifically moisturising and soothing properties. This oil is considered very similar to Blue Chamomile. It is also regarded as being a soothing, relaxing agent for the nerves without sedative properties.
Useful in skin preparations as a hydrating lotion and to balance sebum in oily skin and stimulate circulation. May also be useful as an insect repellent. Used as a fragrance component in Colognes, After-shaves and Perfumes. May be used an Air freshener to ease stress and tension or blended with other scents to create a body cologne or body sprays.

Blends well with: Ambrette, Bergamot, Cypress Australian Blue essential oil blends extremely well. Some of the favourites include: Lavender (All), Lemon, Lemon Tea Tree, Lemon Myrtle and Geranium (All). Cedarwood (All) & Pine (All), Mandarin & Orange, Sandalwood (All), Clary Sage, Marjoram (All), Juniper, Rose (All), Jasmine (All), and Cardamom are other common choices.
Aromatic Scent: Cypress Australian Blue essential oil has been characterized as sweet, balsamic and spicy. It has a very pleasant Evergreen aroma that is a wonderful combination of smoky, woody and dry elements. It also has fruit and slightly nutty tones with comparisons to an exotic Cedarwood.
