Description: The Eucalyptus tree is a beautiful, tall evergreen that can grow up to 90 metres high. The young trees have oval bluish-green leaves while the mature trees develop long, narrow, yellowish leaves, creamy-white flowers and a smooth, pale grey bark.
Common Uses: Eucalyptus essential oil is fantastic on skin ailments (Burns, blisters, wounds, insect bites, lice, and skin infections), as well as to combat the effects of colds and flu. Eucalyptus essential oil is often applied to sore muscles and joints to.
Used as a fragrance in soaps, detergents and toiletries. May be used as an air freshener to ease respiratory problems and sinus. Used in skin preparations to assist the repair of burns, ulcers and wounds and also as an insect repellent.
