Description: The plant is small bushy shrubs, growing at an altitude ranging from 8800 to 15,400 feet in the Himalayan region . The berries are plucked from the branches of the plant once a year and dried and ground before distillation.

Common Uses: Juniper Berry essential oil is credited as being a supportive, restoring, and tonic aid. Good oil for meditation. Antiseptic, cicatrisant, detoxicant, disinfectant, nervine, insecticide, rubefacient. Purifying and clearing when used as an air freshener. A tonic for oily and congested skin and may ease acne, dermatitis, eczema and psoriasis, when used as a facial toner. A tonic for seborrhoea of the scalp when used in hair products or as a hair rinse.
