Cocoa butter has a soft, sweet cocoa aroma, and is one of the most stable fats known. It contains natural antioxidants that prevent rancidity, and has an extremely long shelf life. An excellent moisturising agent for the skin.Some estimates put it at between 2 and 5 years with proper storage conditions.

Rich Body Butter You will need: 120g Cocoa Butter 30ml Jojoba (carrier oil) 25ml Almond (carrier oil) 25ml Apricot Kernel (carrier oil) 20 drops Rosewood 20 drops Bitter Orange 15 drops Lavender
Method: While melting the cocoa butter blend in the carrier oils. Take the mixture off the heat source and while it is add the essential oils. Mix thoroughly. Easy! Of course you can change the essential and carrier oils to suit your needs keeping in mind that 20 grams of Cocoa Butter is sufficient to make a beautifully rich balm.
